Ms. Adame's Assistant Principal's Message
Dear Parkridge Families,
I hope this Tiger Blast finds you and your loved ones enjoying health, prosperity, and Joy!
As we begin the month of February and we find ourselves surrounded by images of hearts and love, I would like to focus on the idea of RELATIONSHIPS.
Our Parkridge Learning Community is comprised of amazing Staff, Teachers, Families, Community Members, and students. We have been given an opportunity to work together, so that All of our students are successful. WE All want our students to feel safe, confident, connected, and engaged. The truth is that We All want the same things for ourselves and our loved ones.
As we develop and strengthen those relationships, daily Attendance is crucial. Each time your child is absent, he or she misses opportunities to grow and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. It is through these daily interactions that your student will feel connected to peers, staff, and the Parkridge Learning Community. Also, when your children are not present others are not able to learn from them. When Our Tigers are absent they are missed!
We continue to work on ways to improve all relationships so that students benefit. Whether it be training for staff to better communicate expectations to students or meetings with families, the goal is that we listen to each other and learn how to make Parkridge a better place for us All. We are better together!
So for this month of February, I ask that we focus on the importance of relationships between home and school. Please remember our school motto:
BELIEVE IN ME, BELIEVE IN YOU, BELIEVE IN US... WE ARE PARKRIDGE!
With gratitude,
Suzanne Elizarrarás Adame , Assistant Principal

All students have been issued District devices and this technology is intended to support student learning. In order to use the technology at an optimal level, it is fundamental that students are caring for their Chromebooks and meeting expectations of proper usage and maintenance. This includes fully charging the device prior to coming to school. Each device (which includes the charger) is assigned to a student , just like a school textbook. If the device and charger are lost or damaged it will be treated like a damaged or lost textbook or library book, which means fines will be charged. Please ensure that your student is responsible with their Chromebooks and chargers, as they are intended to support their learning.
If you have any questions or concerns,
please contact Ms. Adame, Assistant Principal , sadame@cnusd.k12.ca.us
Here is a commonly asked question:
Do families need to sign the Mobile Device Check-out agreement form?
No for the 2021-22 school year any Chromebook/hotspot check-outs are covered under the policy AR 8560. The policy is referenced in the Parent/Student handbook which parents/student acknowledge and confirm was read at the time of online registration.
In July of 2021 a section was also added to ParentConnect for parents to confirm that they have read the policy as part of online registration. Any parents that already completed online registration will not need to go back to confirm the policy. Parents that go into ParentConnect to make changes or with students that are new to the district will need to confirm the policy.
