Ms. Adame's Assistant Principal's Message
Happy Spring Break!
I hope that you awoke this morning looking forward to the week ahead! Big smiles, relaxed, and ready to enjoy your family and friends. Some may have the opportunity to visit and vacation outside of the area, while others may be staying close to home. Whatever you may be doing, please enjoy every bit of your time and return to Parkridge safely on Monday, April 4, 2022.
As we return, we will remain focused on finishing 2021-2022 safely and successfully. Opportunities abound here at Parkridge: Daily demonstrations of how we all meet ROAR expectations inside and outside of the classroom, upcoming times for students to demonstrate levels of understanding on State Assessments, and ongoing moments to improve our practices and ourselves. We have so many opportunities that remind us of the countless possibilities.
As we continue to grow and improve, challenges are often times a part of the opportunities and possibilities that we seek. There are challenges that our students are facing academically, as well as social-emotionally. There are challenges that as a site we are recognizing, addressing, and overcoming to ensure ALL of our staff, families, and students are safe and thriving. With your input, support, and cooperation the challenges will become part of the success! Thank you for working with us.
Below you will see a photograph I took of a bee in my garden. For me, this image sums up the idea of opportunities, challenges, and limitless possibilities. Take a moment, think about that cycle~ opportunities, challenges, actions, and possibilities.
As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve the students, families, and staff of Parkridge. Enjoy your Spring Break!
With gratitude,
Ms. Suzanne Adame, Assistant Principal

PTA Chocolate Fundraiser
WOW!!! We are so proud of all of our students for selling so many boxes! Everyone is doing such a great job that we are almost out of boxes. We would like to thank everyone that participated by either selling or buying chocolates. Those of you who still have boxes may continue to sell over Spring Break and our PTA will distribute prizes after the break once all boxes sold are counted.
Don't forget: ALL money is due Monday April 4th. Thank you!
Counselor's Corner
I cannot believe it's already spring and we have just a few short months left of the 2021-22 school year! Over the last few week's we've had some changes and students and staff are now able to choose whether or not they wear a mask to school. While this transition has been easy for some, for others it may be more challenging. I am happy to hear and see most of our Tigers showing kindness towards one another in regards to their choices. Please click on the link here with some tips for parents on supporting your children through these changes. Wishing everyone a wonderful and relaxing spring break!
Don't forget to check out the counseling page on our Parkridge Website for lots of great information and resources! You can find it by clicking here.
