Parkridge Elementary is a single-track, year-round school located in the central area of our ever-growing city of Corona. We have 50 highly qualified certificated teachers that provide rigorous instruction to an enrollment of approximately 900 students.

The parents and community members are a welcomed part of our safe learning environment. Our Learning Center staff provides many opportunities for parent involvement including Latino Family Literacy Project, Rosetta Stone classes, and Family Nights are several of the many learning experiences available to our parents.

Our highly qualified staff is devoted to providing additional learning time for our English language learners. Intersession classes are offered during off-track time for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. A small group setting focusing on specific standards is aimed at increasing overall academic success. Our after school program, PAWS (Preparing Academically, Working Successfully) helps build a connection for our students as well by offering homework support, health and fitness, academic instruction and enrichment.

Teachers also support after school programs by offering activities such as Tiger Academy for our GATE students, tutoring, drama club, and participation in extra curricular district events.

While Parkridge remains a program improvement school, we have made one of the highest gains on our test scores over the past three years with an increase of 70 API points. Also over the last three years we have gone from meeting no NCLB assessment requirements to all but one! It has been an amazing experience to be part of Parkridge's transformation. With dedicated staff, parents, and students we are making a huge difference in student academic achievement. WE ARE PARKRIDGE!
